A family work environment |
More than just an office
Capital-Image is located in the Town of Mount Royal, known to members of the team as “the countryside of Montreal.” This location means that we can occupy almost the entire third floor of a building, dividing the agency into two sections that we affectionately call the east wing and the west wing. This allows employees to have their own closed office. To bring the two wings together, employees have gotten into the habit of getting together at lunch. Animated discussions on a whole range of topics are on the menu at the noon hour.
The “Capim* hood”
Over the years, agency employees have developed friendships that go beyond their professional duties. Unable to be separated for long stretches of time, most employees live not too far from the “countryside,” in Villeray, commonly called the “Capim hood.” Bringing Capital-Image’s environmental values home, they car pool or commute to work on foot or bike, do their groceries as a group and prefer local outings. *The friendly nickname “Capim” is the fusion of Capital and Image.
After work…
At Capital-Image, we believe that to work more effectively, it’s essential to develop informal relationships. This is why our social committee organizes activities that reflect everyone’s interests. Whether drinks after work or a little seasonal fun, such as sugaring off, picnics or chocolate tastings, the Capital-image team always has a great time when getting together outside of the office. We also believe in achieving a balance between work and family life, so we encourage our employees’ personal activities.
